NEW POLL: Florida Voters Crushed by Rising Costs as Unelected Sen. Ashley Moody Backs Policies Driving Prices Higher

A newly released poll from the James Madison Institute shows what Floridians already know, the cost of living is out of control and families are feeling squeezed at every turn.
According to the survey, a majority (92%) of Florida voters say they are struggling with rising costs with insurance (24%) and taxes (22%) top of the list. Concerns about affordability clearly dominate voter priorities showing the economic strain facing households across the state.
“Floridians are telling us loud and clear that they are stretched thin and fed up with rising costs,” said Out of the Swamp PAC Executive Director Gabrielle Adekunle. “At a moment when families need relief, Senator Moody has backed policies that would make life more expensive. Voters want solutions that lower costs, protect access to health care, and stabilize household budgets.”
Despite her brief time in office, Moody’s time in the Senate has been spent raising the cost of healthcare and supporting Trump’s failed policies, including disastrous tariffs, that have contributed to the ongoing Republican-fueled affordability crisis. Meanwhile, Floridians are suffering as their cost-of-living continues to skyrocket.
